By ordering from us (and joining the sweet side of the internet), you’re agreeing to these crumbly little terms below.
Please read them carefully before placing your order — we promise they’re easier to digest than stale biscotti.
1. Who’s Behind the Batter
Roxy’s Sugar Box is a small-batch, hand-iced bakery based in Plumstead, Cape Town, run by a one-woman powerhouse who believes every cookie should taste like joy.
We’re a sole proprietorship (that’s the fancy way of saying “it’s me, hi, I’m the baker, it’s me”) specializing in artisanal cookies, signature fillings, and custom edible gifts — made from scratch, not churned out of a factory.
When we say we, our, or us, we mean Roxy’s Sugar Box.
When we say you or your, we mean you — the awesome human drooling over cookies online right now.
2. Ordering — Your Shortcut to Cookie Heaven
Orders can be placed directly on our website: www.roxyssugarbox.co.za.
Once payment is received, we roll up our sleeves, preheat the oven, and start baking your order fresh.
Please double-check your delivery details, contact info, and order items before confirming checkout. If something’s off and your cookies end up on an unexpected adventure, we can’t take responsibility for that wild ride.

3. How You Can Pay (and We Can Keep Baking)
We accept payments through:
PayFast – safe and secure online payments
Payflex – because sometimes cookies can’t wait for payday
Direct EFT or Cash Deposits
Cash on Collection (Plumstead pickups only — bring smiles, we’ll bring the sugar)
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR), and yes, that includes the love and the labour.
4. Baking & Dispatch — Fresh, Not Frozen
We bake every order from scratch, just for you.
Please allow 1–3 business days for baking and dispatch.
We only ship Monday to Thursday to keep your cookies out of weekend courier limbo.
If your order sneaks in after 8:00 AM on Thursday, we’ll bake it bright and early Monday morning.
Freshness first. Always.
5. Delivery & Shipping — From Our Oven to Your Door
Free delivery for orders over R1,000.
We deliver across South Africa.
Courier delivery takes 1–7 business days, depending on where you’re hiding out.
Once your box of joy leaves our kitchen, it’s officially in courier hands. We pack every order with care (and a touch of glittery hope), but we can’t be held liable for bumps, smudges, or cookie casualties in transit.
If something goes wrong, please chat directly with the courier when your parcel arrives — they’re the ones steering the cookie ship.
6. Product Quality & Freshness — The Secret Ingredient is Care
Each Roxy’s Sugar Box cookie is made with premium ingredients (including Belgian chocolate and our signature fillings), hand-iced with love, and baked in small batches.
Store your cookies in an airtight container and enjoy within 5–7 days for ultimate chewiness.
Want to save some for later? Pop them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
But let’s be honest — who’s really freezing cookies?
7. Returns, Refunds & “Oops” Moments
Because our cookies are perishable (and delicious), we can’t accept returns.
If something’s gone sideways — wrong order, damage, or missing items please email info@roxyssugarbox.co.za within 24 hours with your order number and a few photos.
We’ll get back to you quicker than dough rises.
8. Allergies — A Quick Reality Check
Our cookies contain wheat, dairy, eggs, and soy, and may contain traces of nuts or peanuts.
While we do our best to keep things clean and separate, our kitchen is not allergen-free.
If you have severe allergies, please consider this before ordering — safety first, sugar second.
9. Creative Crumbs (Intellectual Property)
All images, designs, recipes, packaging, and words that make you giggle are property of Roxy’s Sugar Box.
Please don’t copy, remix, or share our goodies without permission — even if you do it “for inspo.”
10. A Sprinkle of Legal Stuff (Limitation of Liability)
We do our absolute best to make sure every cookie reaches you looking like it just walked out of a photo shoot.
But sometimes things happen — websites glitch, couriers delay, or chocolate chips melt in the summer sun.
Roxy’s Sugar Box isn’t liable for losses caused by factors beyond our control, but we will do everything possible to keep your experience sweet.

We might tweak these terms occasionally (just like we tweak our cookie recipes).
If we do, we’ll post the latest version right here with the updated date.
